I really enjoyed my tenure with Tom as our landlord - he starts off with a great process and ensures that everyone moving in matches the same vibe as the other flatmates which makes for such a great living experience, meaning the flatmates are also truly your friends. The household is also involved in the selection process and gets to suggest our top picks to Tom which he then works through - very rare and super considerate! Tom has been the most attentive landlord I've ever had: he is very hands on and proactive and able to help out with any request to support the house out. Unfortunately I am relocating to Australia otherwise I would have definitely stayed on. I will miss Tom and the team!

From the time I first showed interest, the interviews, background checks and general admin was all smooth.

With regard to living there, I always felt very looked after. Any slight issue was dealt with quickly and professionally and the flat was extremely well, and proactively, maintained which made living there incredibly easy and much more enjoyable.

I was in search for my first house share in 2018. I had looked at many places in Clapham and felt for the amount of rent I was about to fork out I was offered “Harry Potter’s closet” at best. Until I saw Tom’s advert - I was shown a lovely sized room with a spacious and clean kitchen. I was shown around by the landlord (Tom) who was incredibly professional and present. I felt very reassured that if any problems were to arise Tom would be available and he was! Tom was a great landlord when I lived in Clapham Common, and the fact that I stayed for as long as I did (4 years) was mostly because he always made sure we were comfortable and happy. If anything was wrong, he’d get his repair man over right away. The most important thing was to find the right people to live together, and throughout the years people came and went – but I can call most of them my now closest friends who I still see (and even live with in my own flat!) regularly. Tom’s always been willing to listen to how the house can be improved and has always wanted to invest in it to make sure everyone is getting what they expect.
